Overview
Immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings of the UNESCO designated biosphere of Anaga Natural Park in North Tenerife, an area of rugged beauty, dramatic coast lines and cool enchanting forests. We start the day meeting in Tegueste for 0930 before trekking into the spectacular hills of Anaga, discovering the enchanted laurel forests before they open out to some incredible views, where we have a short break to enjoy some of the fresh fruit the area grows. On completion of the hike we will stop off at a local Tasca to enjoy a traditional Canarian lunch before heading to a secret swimming spot. We will be back to Tegueste for 1730 where you will be free to relax in one of the bars or take a short wonder round this enchanting town.
Highlights
The Day
The meeting point for the start of the adventure is the Car Park of Finca de Los Zamarano, Tegueste at 0930. From there we will journey into Anaga for a walk of 3 to 4 hours hike tailored for the group capabilities. On completion we will head to a local restaurant for a typical Canarian lunch and after a bit of relaxation we will head to a swimming spot to finish the day. We shoud be back in Tegueste for 1730.

A Royal Naval Officer, Submariner, Engineer, Leadership Instructor, Coach, Shipping Executive, Diver, Amateur Cyclist, Runner, Paddler and Swimmer. It is fair to say a jack of all trades and well, he says he is still working on mastering at least a few of them!
Charlie fell in love with the North of Tenerife many years ago, when he first travelled there with his wife. So very different from other parts of the island, the cooling forests and the rural environment was a playground for everything he enjoys doing. His passion is to share that joy with others and explore the real Tenerife and all it has to offer.

The Meet
Tegueste - The gateway to Anaga
The meeting point for the start of the adventure is the Car Park of Finca de Los Zamarano, Tegueste at 0930.
The car park is just of Carretera General a Punta Hidalgo as you come into Tegueste (directly opposite the TGas Petrol Station.
If getting the bus from La Laguna or Santa Cruz - the buses 50, 51, 52 and 105 serve Tegueste - teh bust stop to get off is called Tegueste (the next on after Los Laureles).
